So You Say You Want a Round-Up (A-M)

When I was a kid I hung out in a very Catholic neigborhood. I loved the community and my friends but it meant that on Fridays I ate fish... even though I was not Catholic.

All of you bloggers are hanging out in a community of ministers. So if you are not a minister (or even if you are) and have used the time this week to write fabulous things on your blog both pithy and wise in anticipation of the Wednesday round-up I am afraid you are going to have to do some self-promotion in the comments section... even though you are not a minister.

The slightly lesser known 11th commandment "There shall be no A-M round-up on the Wednesday of Holy Week."

Who knew?

  1. The 11th Commandment is a wise one. And a necessary one, no doubt.

I have posted about my missing brain. It seems to have left the territory entirely, leaving me quite scattered and unproductive.

If you see a brain cowering in a corner sucking its thumb and looking overwhelmed, that would be mine. Do not approach it, just gently ask it to return to my head. Oy!

  2. I had someone come to the office to talk about SUnday's sermon!

(Still getting my head around the idea people actually listen to what I have to say :) )

  3. I've been more productive than normal, with at least one entry per day so far this week. I'm especially pleased with the Passover tanka I posted this morning, and my meditation on discipline, posted Monday.

  4. LOL at Sue.
I have posted nothing pithy or wise. Too busy. But I did post about the bugs I mentioned yesterday, and just WHY it is a good thing. Today I am putting away the scarves and mittens.

  5. I just talked about my first day back at work since my mom died, and about trying to work out the "new normal" of my household.

  6. I'm generally grumpy and venting. Who wouldn't want to read about that during Holy Week?

  9. A baptism in Holy Week and pictures of the banners a patient made for my ordination -- that's what's up at Grace Upon Grace.

  10. I've just posted an invitation for you to get to know two of my old friends who have entered the blogosphere recently. You can find out about it over at my place, Blanket in the Grove

As soon as I screw up the courage, I'll post about the fact that we've been told we can't stay in seminary housing anymore in order to make room for incoming students. . . How's that for Holy Week News?

  11. I'm back from Louisiana (beginning to transcribe the paper journals and resize photographs to post), but what I'm really doing today is wandering around feeling restless.
