The piece about "name" from the great commission is good - thanks - several Bruce Springsteen songs talk about naming/identity. The command verb from Matthew is "make" - and how do we make disciples? Through our relationships, through loving as God loved us first.

Or something like that.
Off for some chocolate and then bed.
Peace!PrJooliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06849166852403625550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14710344.post-46295905366338095162008-05-17T23:37:00.000-04:002008-05-17T23:37:00.000-04:00Teri--what about something like this...Do you know...Teri--what about something like this...

Do you know everything there is to know in the Bible? or...do you remember everything Jesus ever said?

Well, the disciples didn't either. Jesus tells us to share his good news anyway (what is the good news?), even if we are confused or even if it is hard, and that he will be with us all the time (how is he with us?) even when we are confused or when it's hard to share good news. Yes, lame. But as far as I've been able to think in this one.
