Highlights for Wednesday

In a quick run around the webring this afternoon, I found some good reading to share with y'all.

Check in with Rebel Without a Pew and see if you can help her with advice on how to respond to snarky questions from a Pastor Nomination Committee considering her resume.

NotShyChiRev has more work than he can say grace as he describes how it feels to preach three sermons in 24 hours. Maybe he should get a copy of the book noted by Twerpette: In Praise of Slowness: How a World Wide Movement is Challenging the Cult of Speed by Carl Honore.

Kathryn reflects on the spirituality of clowning and Lutheran Chik concludes that memorization is a lost art. Don't miss Rev-to-be-Mibi's hilarious Wedding Cake Saga. Steph blows off some steam as she is frustrated with her efforts to coordinate her internship and her day job. That old inner dee-jay is pestering Susan Rose. Don't you just hate when that happens?

Faith or Fiction announced the winner of her church description contest, while Cheesehead and Beth reported their results in the Birth Order Predictor game.

You'll want to read St. Cassarole's latest report from Katrina-devastated Mississippi. Keep thinking those Positive Thoughts, St. Cass!

And one more thing.. Go Astros!
