Monday: Momentous or Mundane? You Be the Judge

In this first week of Lent, Steph has thoughts about being driven into the wilderness; Ruth considers a sewing journey; P.o.C. recommends books for the faith journey; Kirstin says it's difficult to take stock in the spring (clearly, you need a visit to the other coast!); Rachel spreads the Lenten spirit; will smama caught up with our Lenten Friday Five, but for a grin, read the fruits of her Saturday night procrastination, too.

Prayers for RevEm as she embarks on a self-care journey.

Lorna received something special in her inbox.

Stacey looks back over a year in a life.

Amy marvels at a worshipful moment.

Quotidian Grace points us to a post she feels everyone will want to read.

Heather wonders why we don't say more.

reverendmother creates the ultimate checklist.

Jean is musing about the bird flu and more particularly how connected all living things are.

Micahgirl shares something more Irish than green beer!

And some people just can't be trusted with technology, right RevHRod?

St. Casserole's Cross Meme was popular today with many ring members answering her questions, including these from the latter half of the alphabet:

  1. Hi, everyone -- I'd like to put in a prayer request for my pastor who, tomorrow morning, is headed to the Holy Land for a week with about 20 other clergypeople of various denominations. He just e-mailed me with the observation -- only half in jest -- that this excursion, to this place, at this point in history, might be a "magnet for some deep do-do." [LC's PG-rated version of what he actually said.;-)] Thanks, everyone!
