  2. ordered today.

Hoping (almost against hope) that they'll arrive in time. It was touch and go with a light blazes (first ones arriving the day before advent)..and this is even tighter.

    Prayers please :)

  3. Well, my congregation won't even know that it exists until this coming Sunday, so I'll just have to accept that they won't have copies instantly,- though I might, I guess, order a few with fingers crossed, as I know that many seemed to appreciate the Advent Book. They'll have longer to catch up with themselves, working through Ordinary Time, at least!

  4. Well, there were more learning experiences with this book.
First, deadlines must be cast in stone. (and that one's for me, btw)
Editing always takes longer than I expect.
NEVER do this kind of thing during a really busy semester.

My next idea -- "The Best of"
I'd love to do one where people submit their 2 to 5 best blog entries (and I know we all have our favorites.)

Actually, that might be a good thing for Thursdays....

  5. Code worked for me, too.

I hope Lulu gets these covers right!

  7. I ordered a copy, and I will put a link in the bulletin for Sunday.

Geeze, Lulu has some bizarre books though. If my congregation goes surfing there they will think I've lost my marbles. LOL

Very excited to get the book...hoping all is a-ok with it, and praying for your copy to arrive in plenty of time, Lorna!

  8. I love the cover design...classy!

Between privacy issues and propietary feelings toward my blog -- I don't want it to somehow turn into a "church blog" -- I haven't told anyone in my parish about my writing sideline. To tell you the truth, I haven't even told my pastor; not because I'm sharing anything he doesn't know already, but because I think in his exuberance he'd kind of spill the beans, and I'm really not comfortable with everyone and her Uncle Harry in our congregation perusing my Deep Thoughts. So...I might share my entries with him without sharing a link to my blog. Is that bad?:-/

  9. OK, 56 books sold already.
I will have to go up on the price before it can be listed internationally and on Amazon -- probably on Saturday.
    Just a warning.

  11. LC,

I haven't shared my blog with anyone in "real life" :)
hmmmm, I say there's nothing wrong with that! :)

  12. My learning experience is be careful what you ask for, because all things descend in the greatest number when you least have time to handle all of them.

But I feel honored to have been a part of this project, and look forward to finding stability in coming months while revisiting the pages I edited--and experiencing truly ordinary time, and revelling in it.
