Ordinary Time Book

Last stretch before I release the book for sale.

I had to edit the back cover. I have a very big blank spot on the back. I need a few quotes from you all. Like, what did you think of the advent book? What does this group mean to you personally? Etc, etc.

If I get them tonight, I can release either tomorrow or Friday.

Thanks.

Oh, leave them in the comments. Thanks.

  1. The RevGalBlogPals is a refreshing oasis in the often hectic activities of my pastoral ministry. When I need a break, or just want to affirm that there are people out there who understand the nuances of ministry life; I can pour of cup of tea, go to my computer and catch up on my friends and colleagues around the ring. Sure, I would rather share that tea in person, but this is the next best thing. A huge thank you to all the fine women and men who share this extraordinary journey!

  2. Rev Gals and Pals has been a real God-send. An on-line intentional community that cares. We laugh and cry together, and write devotionals too.

  3. This is adapted from what I wrote on my one-year Blogiversary:

"It is a privilege to share the joys and frustrations of ministry and faithful living with the RevGalBlogPals. Along the way, I found others with whom I shared similar stories, a common alma mater, the love of a certain creme brulee, and mutual friends. I even found a sister-by-another- mother! We pray for one another, worry about each others' children, partners, pets, and aging parents. We cheer each other on as we attempt (and succeed) at living lives of integrity, authenticity, and grace. What a blessing!"

  4. Participating in the creation of A Light Blazes in the Darkness was an awesome experience. Less than a year ago, we were a group of people from innumerable Christian traditions, both laity and ordained, who had never met one another - and we wrote a book together! It went all over the world and shared something special of and with each one of us.

  10. I am writing from my sister's home. As I posted a few days ago..it is as I expected. It is a mix of heartbreak and joy. I may blog about it later if I can. As for the book:

My fellow Rev Gals are an amazing community. What a joy to have found them--many churches and traditions but one Lord and a wonderful connection. Their wisdom is a continual blessing.
