Dante had Virgil as a guide. Before he had younger siblings, my oldest child had an imaginary friend named Patrick. Betsy had Tacy. Laura Ingalls depended on her brindle bulldog, Jack. All of them were companions on the way.As we take the beginning steps of our journey through Lent, who would we take as a companion? Name five people, real or imaginary, you might like to have with you as guide or guardian or simply good friend.

Hey --- Friday Five got posted early enough for me to post BEFORE WORK!!!! And I would be hard pressed to play today because I am going to see Amazing Grace (the movie) tonight! Thank you Songbird for the early posting!

I played.
I cheated too. Woe is me, for I am a woman of unclean ... fingertips?
I think the problem is Blogger's, not yours, Presbyterian Gal, because the link looks fine. I'll try it for you here.
I see the problem. You typed it, right? Blogger strips words such as "the" out of post titles in the URL. Just cut and paste from the URL box on the page you want to link next time. Good try!
Here is my offering.
I played here
I borrowed one of mine from Dona Quixote, so be sure to read hers!
I played here - thank you!
I played.
Songbird, I really like how you fleshed out my suggestion!
I'm travelin' here!

Good times, good memories, played here.
I played here.
I started out with a HUGE emotional charge that almost zapped me out of the game, but I ended up with my most conventional play so far.
