I will so be there Elasti-girl. You all look beautiful, rested, and like the incredibly sexy prreacher women that you are! I am with Deb on the umbrella drinks though. Do we have to show y'all how to do everythign now?!?
Well, we did decide that Vegas rules apply for some things! Let's just say you might be surprised at how well some of our fellow RevGals can cut a rug.
If anyone wants the blog name "Ecumenical Disco," it's up for grabs...
This might not be PC ... but what sprung to mind was 'coming out' or not - because some faces are (deliberately) turned away while others are embracing the camera.
I've just returned last evening from one of the most joyous, worthwhile, transformational experiences I've ever had. Thanks to all the RGPBs whose welcome was warm...grace abounded 24-7!
I've gone dark (no, not with a suntan!!!) into anonymous blogging - thanks Vicar of Hogsmeade for your help on this.
The word I walked with over the past few days was Integrity. Not the first time this word has sat in my craw...and certainly not the last. But when I drew this word this time, I saw a period at the end of it - rather than a question mark, as had been the case awhile back when this word first started sitting on my shoulder. I am grateful, deeply grateful for the journey toward deeper integrity... and i look to this blog as a touchstone for the journey as it continues.
...I have procrastinated enough, and now I must face laundry and all the other stuff that calls my name back here somewhere south of somewhere.
Hugs and kisses and chocolate ice cream cones and other tasty delights on the Lido Deck Aft to my RGBP sisters
As I recall that picture was taken on half price Margarita night. I'm the third one up on the left with my back turned. Drop by my blog for my first post BE post.
That photo makes me sooooo happy. We had, truly, only just put our drinks down to negotiate the stairs. The poor photographer was very confused by teh whole thing, bless him. Why would those women want to turn away from the camera?! I'm not allowed to blog yet because I don't have a study to blog in (and I cant download photos yet either) but thank you all so much for the wonder that is revgals and thank you to my Big Event sisters for being there adn being your sweet selves. Love you lots xx

Wyld,
ReplyDeleteThe people with turned backs are anonymous bloggers. Those of us with faces forward have (or are willing to) attach our real identities to our blogs.
We're all RevGals or Pals. Including YOU!
