Thanking God for You Friday Five

Phillipians 1:3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.

I'm musing about giving thanks for people today, partly because Americans celebrated our annual Thanksgiving holiday yesterday (I try not to just make this holiday "turkey day" even though its main feature seems to be eating till one is nearly comatose) and partly because I read the above verse this morning. It started me thinking about individuals in my life for whom I give thanks. For this post-Thanksgiving Day Friday Five, share with us "Five People For Whom You Give Thanks to God" and maybe tell us why they are significant. To link to your post in the comments, use the following formula:

Copy and paste the following: what you want the link to say goes here For a complete how-to, click here.

  3. hi
I appreciate this FF especially as -well - we don't do thanksgiving so no turkey here (or crazy shopping day either PTL!)

    Thankful for
    1. Hubby - the light of my life. We've been husband and wife 20½ years now - but he's a joy to be with and I'm thanksful for his patience and encouragement.

2:Our kids (most of the time)

TS is a young man now. Passed the awful teenage years - drives me to distraction sometimes, makes me laugh a lot and makes me incredibly proud

2= DD - not so easy right now. 16 going on 26 ...beautiful, stylish, indpendent, mind of her own, daddy's girl :)

    4. Friends. Esp our kids' godmothers. They are the best!!! Also my church family.

    5. BookCrossing Pals. RevGals. Other cyber networks. And other family and friends. My Dad (died 11 years ago) will always have been my best friend. I'm so grateful for the time we did have together. Too short, oh too short :(

and I'm thankful to them all.
