Those of us in the US and those around the world who celebrate the US holiday of Thanksgiving have been gathering together since Thursday. Here is a medley of hymns you may have sung this week. We gather together is one I sang in grade school every year and still can put me back in 3rd grade with just a few bars. Blessings and thanksgivings for all the RevGals and friends.
What did you sing this week?
And as today is the beginning of Advent - here are some online Advent Calendars (you have to provide your own chocolate!!!)

Ann, what a treat to have these Advent devotional sites. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe pianist did a wonderful improv of O Come O Come. No music...just free flowing.
Today we sang, "Hark! A Thrilling Voice is Sounding!,"O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,"The King will Come When Morning Dawns."
ReplyDeleteSoloist sang "How Beautiful are the Feet of Them." Glorious.
Among other things, we sang O Come, O Come, Emmanuel accompanied by visuals--it was so lovely--beautiful arrangement of the song (my favorite carol) and beautiful pictures to go along with it.
ReplyDeleteLovely; and I highly reccomend the Church of England site; Rowan Williams message is wonderfully challenging and encouraging!
