Friday Five: My Favorite Things

In a week of wondering how various things in our family life will unfold, I found myself thinking of the way Maria comforted the Von Trapp children in one of my favorite movies. Frightened by a thunder storm, the children descend upon her, and she sings to them about her favorite things, taking their minds off the storm.

So, let's encourage ourselves. Share with us five of your favorite things. Use words or pictures, whatever expresses it best.

As always, leave a comment if you play, and to maximize visitors, add a direct link to your post, using the following formulation:
<a href="the url of your blog post goes here">what you want the link to say goes here</a>

There is another post before the FF about depression in my town... and I got to thinking that perhaps if we spent more time focusing on these things that give us joy and doing it with other people, we would face less of the problems I talk about in the first post.
