It's all about the look- Friday Five

In readiness for my move in 6 weeks time I spent almost all of yesterday morning sorting through my wardrobe ( closet, I am so British :-) marvelling at how I had accumulated so much stuff! The result is three large sacks full of clothes to be given away. Some came into the category of " what was I thinking", some too big now ( at last), and others I will never shrink into again. Some are going simply because I want to streamline my wardrobe.

So how about you:

1. Are you a hoarder, or are you good at sorting and clearing?

2. What is the oddest garment you possess and why?

3. Do you have a favourite look/ colour?

4. Thrift/ Charity shops, love them or hate them?

5. Money is no object, what one item would you buy?

As always, let us know in comments if you play. Post a direct link to your blog entry in your comment using the following formulation in the comment box: what you want the link to say goes here For a complete how-to,

  5. Great one Sally, and right on target for me as I hope to move about the same time for a college teaching position. Prayers for the campus interview, please, everyone!

  11. I just realized that I answered question #2 incorrectly and it's hilarious. I thought the question was "What is the OLDEST item?", not the ODDEST. I might change my answer, I might not. I'll think on it.

    Now I'm just chuckling.

  13. I made the same mistake a Sue and read 'oldest' instead of oddest. There may be a few more of us before the day is out!

  15. Not having a public blog right now due to family stuff, I have to comment on this one. "Stuff" is my unwitting middle name.....

    1. Of course I'm not a hoarder. Until I have to move and need a shovel to empty my closets and drawers.

    2. Oddest garment: netted bug suit that elicits howls of laughter from those who see it.

    3. Look: jeans and t-shirt/colour: right now, the slimming black.

    4. Thrift/Charity shops: can't do them. Not that I don't want to. It's a vibe thing. Though there are some really killer clothes in those places.

    5. Money no object: A custom made suit with pants and skirt.
