On Christmas Eve

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness on them light has shined. (Isaiah 9:2)

Tonight's the night.

O sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. (Psalm 96:1)

It's Christmas Eve.

In those days a decree went out from Emperor Augustus...

Whether you're ready or not, may your Christmas Eve be blessed.

Merry Christmas from RevGalBlogPals

  1. P.S. The Friday Five will be back next week! If you're working on a sermon today, feel free to keep using the Preacher Party thread from yesterday. We'll start a new party tomorrow.

  2. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  3. "The Preacher's Husband" says, "It's a great Christmas gift to be included in this erudite forum... Grace, Peace, Love, Hope and much Joy to you all. My amazing wife will knock my socks off tonight with another Christmas Eve message that I didn't see coming. If you're ever in the neighborhood, come to and introduce yourselves!"

  4. Here it is Christmas morning,

Merry Christmas to all of you,

And may the echoes of the angel songs be all around you,
the wisdom of those who followed the star be your guide
and the joyful wonder of those who found the Christ be in your hearts. Amen.

  5. Here is a YouTube telling of a special Christmas story.

  6. Blessings to you, as well, dear Songbird! Merry Christmas to all my wonderful Rev Gal Blog Pal friends!

  7. I wasn't quite ready, and the Internet wasn't working at my house, so I'm glad I didn't miss a FF, and wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I've got my Christmas baby home, my preacher daughter made it through 3 services last evening with no working plumbing in her church, and my son and his wife are enjoying dim sum and a movie with Jewish friends today. And the dog got a Gentle leader for Christmas. Thanks for all the great blogging!
