    Didn't work for me so far, even though I went into Firefox as I've had problems with Chrome and Blogger before. Oh well.

    Auntie Knickers, I just added it to a blog in Chrome today. I wonder what your trouble was? In what way did it not work?

    in the html... put a > sign after button.jpg". That might make it work.

    Yes, go to Appearance, then Widgets, then drag the Text widget to the column for "Main Sidebar." Paste the code into the box that opens, use RevGalBlogPals as the title. Hit Save, then Close. Voila!

    Thanks, Martha. I did it! It might be beyond my technical abilities, but if anyone knows how to adjust the button size, I'd like to make mine just a little bit smaller so it fits in the sidebar better.

    i live in cambridgeshire and at the moment am a hopsice chaplain but i will be taking on a village parish in august.

    tryingto add the button - but feeling particularly dim! Cannot work out how to add something to the sidebar on my blogger blog - is it the same as adding a gadget?

    Yes, you use "add a gadget," then choose "html/javascript." Paste the code in under content and put RevGalBlogPals in the title box.

    Yay! Tried a few positions and now put the button in. Quite pleased with myself. It's not ideal but it will do for now!
