This Friday Five posts the day after my return from a phenomenal BE 4.0 experience. I am so thankful for the women who pursued the idea of this virtual community, continue to keep it vital and active and had a vision of creating space to meet in real life (irl) and made that happen too!
Because of the lateness of Easter this year the end of our BE time together has dropped us off on the cusp of Lent. My calendar taunts me with the schedule I'm supposedly going to keep. There are extra Bible studies, evening gatherings and worship services all crammed into a six week period of reflection and contemplation (ha!). But there are some things I truly love about the season of Lent even if I don't get in as much reflection and contemplation as I would like.
What about you? What are some things you appreciate about the season of Lent? Perhaps you would share 5 of them with us. And for your bonus question feel free to share one thing you could do without.
Please let us know if you played in the comments and if you place a link it will help my just-off-the-boat-groggy self get to you faster. Forget how? Here's a quick reminder.
Thanks for playing!

I posted a few of my favorite Lenten things. Have a great day everyone!
Here are a few thoughts that I can only hope won't irritate anybody. I know how sensitive a subject Lent is...and it kinda reflects moods this time of year.
Up early - dropped Lovely Daughter off at the airport at 4:00 for her week in Guatemala and could only sleep for a short time after. So I was glad to play here.
Here are a few thoughts.

I posted some quick thoughts at this place
hi. this has been in process all day, but I finally got it done
I'm still on my epic journey home from BE. Only 6.5 more hours! I posted about Lent in the Seattle airport.
I am late in posting, but the one. thing. I. could. do. without...
is Sunrise services(actually, not during Lent, but close).
Most everyone I know loves them, but they do nothing for me. I am not a morning person and it is just not for me.
I played late, but
I posted it here!
The link mechanism is beyond me this evening, but I played at http://crimsonrambler.blogspot.com.
