Seeking is rejoicing. Rejoicing comes from the seeking, NOT the end of glory, heaven, enlightenment, or whatever. Seeking is the journey--RIGHT NOW!

ReplyDeleteWhile I'm not playing, I would like to respond. The idea of "seeking God" in the bible first impressed itself on me in Amos, "seek God and live." I discovered that the verb for "seek" d-r-sh is the one that became midrash to interpret the scriptures. I love the idea that seeking God is exegeting God, in and out of the scriptures.
