New Members in the RGBP Easter Basket!

It's been a busy Lent, and now for an Easter treat--new friends!

Dorothy at Sunshine and Shadows is "a Church of Scotland minister living by the sea. This blog holds my current ramblings on faith ... life and all the random clutter in my head."

A Pearl Down Under has been a regular commenter here--now we welcome her blog to the community too! She is "an ordained Minister in the Uniting Church in Australia, in my first placement with a congregation that loves me and blesses me."

Ruth of A Feather on the Breath of God is "presently training for priesthood in the Anglican church. I am married to a very forbearing and supportive husband, Tony, and have two wonderful adult children. Tony and I share our home with two large, furry canine rascals, aka Snoopy and Ella."

RevMomma blogs about "Life in motherhood and ministry. I'm a United Methodist Pastor serving in Northern Virginia. I'm part of a clergy couple. I'm a mom to two beautiful girls ages 5 and 3 1/2."

ClaraJane at God's Perfect Timing is "a follower of Christ, wife, mother, daughter, sister, relative, and friend. I am passionate about God's creation, finding answers to the tough questions, practicing active love, and living out God's plan for my life." She is an adoptive mom, and is in the MDiv program at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. "God is calling me into the world of emerging and missional ministries. In addition, I have a huge passion for orphan and widow care."

Two of our blogging sisters have new blogging homes:
Katie, formerly of Adventures of Tiny Church, is now at Inside Outed.
Maria of Jubilee is now at Everyday Thinking.

Head out and visit these new friends to offer a warm RevGalBlogPal welcome!

We've had some technical difficulties, so be sure to add these to your blogroll or feed reader, because we aren't always able to update the RGBP blogroll in the sidebar. Hopefully it won't be too long before we/blogger get that fixed.

  1. I am up and dressed but I wouldn't say I have risen. Happy Easter Monday to all RevGals. And bravas to all of us who have gotten through another one!

Our celebrations were glorious as usual but very tiring. If you don't feel like you've 'been rode hard and put away wet' (as we say in Texas) you must have missed something. 8>D Have a blessed day of rest.

  2. Welcome to all our newbies. This is the zaniest bunch you have been a part of but they help us stay sane in this life.

  3. Great to be a part of this community. I perhaps should add to my slim bio that I am studying in Cambridge, UK, and will be ordained on July 1st. ( prayers in this frantic time of preparation/ dissertations/house moves etc etc would be hugely appreciated)
I have been blogging for a year or so - mostly my inner journey through theological training and formation. I love it as a creative outlet, and a way of sorting out the huge volume of stuff going on in my head/heart through this roller coaster process. I have a love affair with words and need to write in some way- prose, poetry, whatever. Blogging has been a whole new scary adventure. Blogging once ordained, holds even more potential issues - so have been taking advice, and a wise head told me about yourselves and encouraged me to sign up. Good call.
