Sunday Afternoon Music Video: Creator of the Stars of Night

There is something of the clarity of an Advent evening in this chant for me.  Still, precise, and like the Advent season, quickly here and gone.  My parish is not singing it this year, but I pulled it for the community to sing at Morning Prayer (in English!) on Friday.  The first verse echoed the psalm for the day...

Creator of the stars of night,
your people's everlasting light,
O Christ, Redeemer of us all,
we pray you hear us when we call.
