I want to welcome Jenee Woodard to our RevGalBlogPal ring -- for years now I have used her main website, The Text this Week (Textweek). She has provided this as a service for those of us who teach or preach the RCL and it is an excellent (actually I would say premier) resource. Y'all say hey to Jenee.

Also, HeyJules from Faith or Fiction is the first RevGalBlogPal to send me her devotional. There are 11 spots left open -- let me know if you can do one (or two) of them. I have posted the chart here. The last one I saved had a glitch. I do hope this one is better.

  1. Reverend Mommy: If you are absolutely stumped for a contributor I can do two, but not unless you absolutely can't find someone else.;-)

  2. I'm trying to start on mine done as we speak, but I'm really not sure what is expected. If I email it - canyou get out your redpen and help me learn from my mistakes.

It's fun stepping into another's tradition - but my, this is a steep learning curve and I'm surrounded by great loving women, who gulp, are experts!!

PS loving rev gals with blogger only comments, do open them up for the rest of us :)

  3. Lorna, you can sign up to be a commenter via blogger without actually having a Blogger blog. I believe allowing Blogger-only comments was a way to avoid spam, not an effort to exclude anyone from commenting. It's a little more involved initially than commenting via Haloscan, but once you have signed up, it's not more complicated. We opened to all commenters on this blog, but we also added word verification due to the nasty spam we received.

  4. Even though I'm a "new kid" .... I might be willing to give an Advent reflection a shot ..... maybe .... I think .... ummmm ....

    Peace out,

  5. Ooh ooh! Pick me! Pick me!

I'll take a spot, just let me know when!
