Because I can't sleep

I uploaded today's version of the devotional book with my changes/ corrections in green. And I moved a few things around.
Anyway it's here.

If anyone can figure out how to get page one to be the first devotional, the foreword to be numbered "i, ii, iii" and no page numbers on the title pages, I'd appreciate it. I *thought* I knew how to do it.....

Update:
I *think* I fixed it. Try again.

Update of the second part:
It didn't upload.... I'm going to have to erase it from the webserver and *then* upload it. Should be up later this afternoon.

Another update:
Mystery solved -- I ran out of diskspace at the webserver. I'm erasing unused stuff and will upload as soon as I make space.

  2. Is it a Word doc? If so, you need to have them as separate sections. Then, in the footer, click on the format page number button and you should be able to say how the numbers are formatted for that section. You'd also need to say that you don't want to continue numbering from previous section.

Take care R.M.!! We're thinking about you.

  4. I opened it, but it doesn't look any different from the first draft, so I'm wondering if i opened it or somehow called up the original...

Anyway - my name still isn't on my piece from Jan7/06....and I'd prefer that my pic not be included. Sorry, I feel like a pain, but if the piece is going in, it should probably be credited to someone.

reverend mommy -- i hope you're feeling better.

  7. erm sorry, but I'm with Sue on this ...
I think this might still be the first one (ie uncorrected) as see-through faith is still misspelt and my second entry is still credited to Katherine.

    I didn't check any further.

  8. Let me know if you need a step-by-step walk-through of the page number things. It can be a little tricky if you don't know your way around Word, but it's not too hard to explain.
Thanks for all this & I hope you're feeling better soon.

Gord, I believe this is going to be available on Amazon and in Cokesbury stores in the Atlanta area. I'm sure rev mommy will let us know more.

    :)
Hope you are feeling ok. If there's anything we can do to help to pick up some of the work load on this, please say.

You've (and MaryBeth) have done a fabulous job so far - and more than the lion's share.

I'm hopeless with computer things but if there's something you think I can help with - please ask :)

Prayers for your health and prayers for this devotional too ascending :)
