RevGal's Friday Five: All Music, All the Time

In honor of my father’s record collection, and the punishment I deserved but did not receive when I took them all out of the jackets, arranged them on the family room rug and walked on their smooth, cool surfaces with my no doubt dirty little feet (I was three at the time, and they felt marvelous!!), here are five music questions for this fine Friday.

  1. What was the last CD you purchased?
  2. Did you like it?
  3. Is it the kind of music you would call your favorite?
  4. What was the first album (CD for you youngsters) you ever owned?
  5. And what was your favorite cut from that recording?

  3. Mine is Up!

Oh Songbird you were a brave girl. I shudder to think what my dad's reaction would have been.

  7. Has anyone else's bloglines been down today? I read many of you via bloglines and hadn't gotten any updates since last night. I took a peek at several blogs and they have been updated. Any ideas?

  8. I must be the only one who didn't answer my own questions! Although I have answered some of them in other people's comments. I am very impressionable and keep changing my memory of my first record, but I'm fairly sure it was The Chipmunks Sing the Beatles' Hits. (Not the Beatles's Hits, I want you to know.)

  9. Hey! That was one of my first albums too!

But I think the soundtrack to the Muppet Movie was my real first.
