Sunday Fun-Day!

Greetings! Sorry I missed you last week.

In honor of World Communion Sunday today, which I JUST THIS WEEK learned about from one of the blogs on this ring (how cool is that), I'm rounding up what folks have been doing in church.

A Raid on the Inarticulate shares about the results of her church's OP/EN "situational" liturgy. See the Sept. 20 and Sept. 30 entries. The latter one has photos. Very wonderful!

Cheesehead's church "did communion" differently this week and, as she says, "People dealt. I was proud of them for that."

Did you know that FridayMom met God recently? God didn't smell so good. This wasn't within a church building, but definitely within The Church.

Rebel Without a Pew remembers a World Communion Sunday in the past -- don't miss this, you need a laugh!

Lorna shares wonderfulness from her sermon on Spiritual Cosmetics, and Songbird gives a tremendous sermon on the theme that hate and fear must be taught.

St. Casserole has just arrived home. I know she is much in our prayers as she has led her first service in her own church in over a month (is that right!?)

And me, I want to go to Mississippi!

Peace--
