  1. Thanks, Sally. I needed this. No church for us today. I called it off because of snow. www.foraseason.blogspot.com

  2. At 7:30 this morning, I thought for sure services would be canceled but co-pastor and council are a hardier lot than myself.
In retrospect, it was a glorious service, with liturgical dance, solos and my sermon just worked. I'm hoping to post it up at my place shortly.
    Thanks be to God.

  3. We did Lessons and Carols this morning, it was wonderful, so many voices, reading and singing. I wish I could hear this song, but my dialup is much too pokey to handle videos or music, sadly.

We sang some of the great ones: The First Nowell, O Little Town of Bethlehem, O Come O Come Emmanuel, Hark the Herald Angels and were treated to a duet from Handel's Messiah.

The last 15 years or so I worshipped at a friary, and Christmas wasn't Christmas until Midnight Mass - I'm still adjusting to the switch to singing carols this early - but hey, it's fun to slip a little rejoicing in early!
