Monday Musical Musings

It's the sweetheart edition of Musical Musings today, as we are in the week where Valentine's Day is upon us. Though we may not officially observe it in the church, many do with their loved ones. So....

Do you have a favorite song that you listen to with your sweetheart or loved ones? Which one comes to mind?
Here's one that is a favorite here at our house:

Do you remember a song your parents loved??

Share with us your songs in the comments -- bet we can come up with an Itunes list here!

  1. My parents love music, especially the standards of the 40s and the 50s. My dad says one of his favorite songs has always been, "The Tennessee Waltz." Maybe not the best for Valentine's day. Do you know "September Song"? my mom had sheet music for that, and liked to sing and play it.

  2. Just came across my iTunes today, Harry Connick Jr. (who happens to also not be too bad to look at) and his cover of Recipe For Love, off the cd We Are In Love. Love it.

  3. My dad loved "September Song" too. We like "Do You Love Me" from Fiddler on the Roof, and...this will make some people wonder...Inna Gadda Da Vida. LOL!

  4. Diane,
I haven't thought about sheet music in a while! I am sure they make it still -- but haven't seen it in a long time.

    I love the Tennessee Waltz!
