When we talked last month about a new feature for the 2nd Monday, we got a lot of great ideas, including:

All of those sound great to me... The idea of "sitings of God" could be very fun, either just a collection of photos or quotes...
and if you need host, please consider me. :)

Wot about a 2nd Monday 'spin-cycle' of all of the suggestions? Or does this just mean I'm indecisive :)
I vote for the 'spiritual practice' option.
I like all of the options; if forced to choose, I'd vote for spiritual practices.
I vote for God sightings or links...it is always interesting to me to learn about different places on the web that others enjoy visiting...especially when they are like minded!
I like the "sitings" idea, too... or should we call it "Showings"? ;-)
The idea of sharing links is helpful, too. I'd expand it beyond the internets to include books, videos, and other materials--sort of a virtual "resource room." There could be a call for themed material, rather like the Friday Five: homiletical helps, church music resources, discussion guides for hot-button issues, Christian education stuff for a certain topic or age, etc.
I like the idea of an intentional time for reflecting on things for which we're grateful...especially on a Monday!
Sightings or showings. I like that idea and also sharing blog postings or web sites.
all are good
what Deb wrote about sitings sounds intriguing but I'd also be interesting in spiritual disciplines /practices to help us grow
I am sorry but rightnow I couldn't host it ... maybe after the new year I could be more active again. Let's see
I kind of like the "spin cycle" idea too because these all sound great!
sitings. showings. my vote.
gratitude lists and/or spiritual practices would be cool; "God sitings" would be fun also, especially since it's virtually impossible to discern them until after the fact.
Actually - I take back my suggestion because the idea of a "spin cycle" is quite interesting... it includes the spiritual conversation we pursue - practices, serendipitous moments or thin places...
I'll be an avid reader!
