Today I need to remember
that I am not the pure center of the universe
and that you are sitting in that chair next to me
no matter the unexpected frustrations the day may throw at me

you will advise me on the best way to catch the Big Crazy Thing
you will cheer for me when I dismount the beam where I am balancing.
